Pipe Markers Labeling Tips

When Labeling Pipes the pipe markers should be placed near all valves or flanges and next to areas where pipes shift directions or go though walls and doors. All pipe markers should be placed on the lower side of the pipe if workers need to look up to see pipe and on the upper side of the pipe if workers need to look down at the pipe or placed directly facing the worker if pipe is eye level.
