I started another thread so as not to hijack the other one.

just purchased and used for the first time this weekend a MiraCool cooling vest. I used it on the Pie Run ride and rode from 0900 in the morning to 1730 that afternoon.

Soak it in water for 30 minutes and it will keep you cool while riding for two days.

I put it over my shirt and under my mesh jacket and rode 200+ miles on a 93 degree day and it was amazing how much better it was with the evaporative cooling. This puppy really works.

My t-shirt under the vest was only damp and not as wet as it would have been from sweating. "

I used mine in 93 degree weather this last weekend and it was outstanding. Soaked it in water for about 25 minutes at 0800 on Saturday morning and it still had some water in it on Monday evening. Felt great riding with it on Sunday morning.
